2007 Ojai Cycling Weekend (click for full size photo)

Join your fellow La Grangers for a weekend of cycling, great food and fun in the spectacular Ojai Valley. The main event is the Ojai Valley Century on Saturday, May 30, which also offers a metric century and double metric option. We all stay at the fab Ojai Capri Motel, which offers two pools, a jacuzzi, plasma tv’s and iPod docking station in every room, and spacious lawns with a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Weekend events include a carbo-loading feast Friday night, a cooking class at the Ojai Culinary Studio for the non-riders, post-ride pool party with live bluegrass band and Rob's famous margaritas, our very own massage therapists, a private yoga/stretch class on the hotel lawn, a catered barbeque Saturday night, 'cool down' ride to Lake Casitas and back to town for coffee Sunday morning, followed by the always popular wine tasting and picnic at Oak Creek Ranch Winery.Kids are welcome, so bring the whole family! You can even bring your dog. Advance payment required for party and meals. There are many activities for kids and non-riders to do while you’re out riding.

Don't delay -- a lot of the rooms are already booked by returning La Grangers.

Weather: No guarantees, but May or June in Ojai is usually lovely. It's inland in a sheltered valley, so it's often sunny there when L.A. is shrouded in "June gloom."
