January Racers of the Month

Dear members,
We're back in 2017 with more Racer of the Month winners! Seth Davidson Law has once again put up the cash to reward our racers for their great effort. teammates and results representing the race program and the club. Each month, the male and female racers who best represent the La Grange spirit will be named Racer of the Month and will receive a $200 check, all funded by Seth Davidson Law.
Our La Grange race team got the 2017 race season off to a great start in January, and here are your winners for the month:
Katie Rollins got the first La Grange win of the season, when she took the win in the Cat 4 Santa Barbara County Road Race! Here she is at the top of Mandeville Canyon with her winners check.
Eric Bryan went up against an extremely stacked P12 field at the Santa Barbara County Road Race, bridged up to a breakaway, stuck the move, and ended up on the podium in 3rd place. As a UCLA student recently profiled in the Daily Bruin, we are going to assume he can use the money!
The La Grange womens team had such a strong start to the season that we bent the rules and have TWO winners on the womens side this month:
Continuing the theme of January road race podiums, Maddy Ward took 2nd place in the P123 Santa Barbara County Road Race. Maddy has had a string of great results to start the season and you can read all about them soon in La Voix.
