Greetings La Grange Members! 

Fall has arrived, and that means it’s time for our La Grange Annual Awards Banquet! Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 17th, at 1pm. This year, we’re shaking things up with a fresh new venue—Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica! We’ll have the entire space to ourselves, making it the perfect setting to celebrate our club’s achievements together.

Why attend this year’s banquet? First, it’s always a blast! You’ll see your fellow members (and their guests) off the bike and out of their kits, ready to relax and celebrate. We have an incredible food program planned, plus an open bar to keep the event flowing! It’s a perfect chance to chat about things other than cycling—or dive even deeper into bike talk if you want. Some of our fantastic sponsors will be there, so you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with them in person.

In addition to the awards, we’re honored to announce that Bill Birrell will be doing a special tribute to our dear friend Edgar Burckssen. This is a meaningful moment for our community, and we hope you’ll be there to join us in remembering Edgar.

We’ll announce the La Granger of the Year and present other fun awards, so you might find yourself in the spotlight—or at least cheering on a friend who is. Marco will be showcasing his collection of club jerseys, taking us all on a trip through La Grange history.

And if that’s not enough, we’ll hold another fantastic raffle, with prizes from Helen’s Cycles, Caffe Luxxe, The Feed, and more. There’s no better place for good swag and good company—see you there!
