Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful and hang out with family and friends. It’s also time for the annual La Grange Meals-On-Wheels Thanksgiving Day ride. For 24 years, Velo Club La Grange has raised money for the West Los Angeles chapter of Meals On Wheels, a national organization dedicated to addressing Senior hunger and isolation in local communities. Serving over 40,000 meals per year to seniors and the disabled, Meals On Wheels-WLA is also serving homeless veterans at the sprawling West LA VA Campus.

On November 28th we will meet at SVO, Santa Monica, CA at 7:30 am and roll out at 8 am. We will ride to Malaga Cove and enjoy cold brew, snacks and treats.

Donations can be made via Paypal by simply noting “Meals-on-Wheels donation” in the memo. Any amount is welcome and appreciated. Cash and checks will also be accepted in person at the start of the ride. All donations are tax-deductible. Previous emails incorrectly stated donations may be made at Caffe Luxxe locations.
